hello out there,

i have problems with some of my thumbnails.
everything went right during the installation and some thumbnails have a good quality but no i uploaded a few thumbs (into the same album) and they have bad quality - bad colors. i did not change any settings.
the pictures in normal size have good quality
what could that be ???

by the way - it is a fantastic program ...

Are you using GD, GD2 or IM?
Read the Online DOCs,FAQ, and SEARCH the board BEFORE posting questions for help.

the upgrade to gd2 explains the problem quite good.
i run my homepages on freenet.de and i run several homepages there and i have this problem only on one homepage (also freenet)
so i think that is not the solution

kraftdurchurlaub

the homepage where the error occured was not set to gd2 and all pictures or thumbnails uploaded after freenet upgraded their server had this error.
sorry for confusing you.

I'm having the same problem. I just configured the gallery to use GD version 2.x, deleted the old album and directory, the created new album and directory, FTPd the orginals to the new dir., then batch addded them to the new album. Got the same problem... bad colors in the generated images (thuimbnail and normal view) but the original is fine.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Nevermind - it worked. Maybe the images were cached??? I checked 5 mins ago and they were bad quality images - now they're fine. I dunno. But it's all good now. Maybe it took freenet time to generate?
