Link, please. Also, have you read the documentation?

Try the 'Show first level album thumbnails in categories' option in config.

Hello,

I seem to remember using the 'show first level album thumbnails' option. However, this isnt the main problem I have. I would only like to show category's and not the albums listed bellow them, as this would take up a huge ammount of space. So when the user goes to the main page he will see a bunch of category's, but nothign else, he can then click on a category to go to the page with a list of albums and then click on the album. This would reduce space and make my life so much easier!

This is my old script:

Now I just need to figure out a way to have something similar in the new script:
http://www.games-fusion.net/screens/index.php

Many thanks!

Im not sure what you mean, the albums you have on your main page at the moment are only shown because they are in no category.

grrr ok Im just silly. I havnt slept much. I am sure when I put an album in a category the other night it still showed it.... oh well. thx for ur help!

I do have one other question tho any idea if there is an A-Z listing or an option to make the search option search for albums instead of pictures... i have 100's of pictures and i dont want to go through each adding names.

thx!

You could make a category for each letter and then link to them from an index made with anycontent. A bit like this but linked to categories instead of albums.

Yea actually I think that would be better.

I have just made it like this:
http://www.games-fusion.net/screens/index.php

But then I have the problem of still having too many entries under one category so I think i'll go with the A-Z version, unless I have a sub category under First Person Screenshots, with letters A-D, E-G... actually I think i'll do that... it would make it even easier for my visitors to find what they want.

Well this is what I came up with:

http://www.games-fusion.net/screens/index.php

If you go into First Person Shooter, you will find another category called A-F... go into there and you will find Couunter-Strike: Source.

Do you think I should do 3 letters per category? or 6, I dunno which is the propper way of listing?

Many thanks,
