Is there an easy way to move my userpics folder to a new folder and at the same time changing all of the links to point to this new folder?

I am trying to rebuild my old gallery images from 1.2, but 1.3.2 wont rebuild them since they are in the user pics folder.

so i need to move the old pics else where in order to rebuild them.

Thanks

You would have to manually edit the database to reflect the new filepath. So, it's easy (but tedious) if you know how to manipulate a database, but hard if you don't.

if you don't experience any problems with the fact that you have been ftp-uploading to userpics in previous versions (which was wrong),  don't move the pics that already exist in your coppermine database - no need to fiddle with them unless you really know what you're doing. Just from now on you're suggested to create a new folder structure within "albums" where your ftp-uploads should go to, but leave the old structure intact - it's more than likely that you will break everything. If you decide to mess with things, it's mandatory to backup both your existing file structure and your database before you start modifying things.
