Whats the possibility of allowing email notifications when a comment has been made to a users pictures .. I see this feature available for the ADMIN .. but it would be a great feature to have for the USERS to be able to select that option

What you're requesting hasn't been posted yet as a mod/hack, but you're welcome to try, shouldn't be too hard. Edit ecard.php, use the function cpg_mail(). You'll need some if/then switch to check for the owner of the pic.

Just a little note. Be very careful about letting email go through your domain to whomever. For example, AOL users have a wicked report spam button that they use for messages that they sometimes intend to delete or are too lazy to unsubscribe. People with forums have had to ban AOL users from signing up because those users were reporting forum notifications that they agreed to receive as spam. Although the messages weren't spam, AOL doesn't care and take their users' word and then send a message to the site's webhost. The webhost is threatened by AOL with a blacklisting. The webhost has to take action to protect the servers.

Basically, if your users receiving those comment notifications misuse or abuse the report spam button, you could get in trouble. Then again, you may have a lax webhost. This is just something for anyone considering doing this to keep in mind.
