Firstly before anyone tries to direct me to the mod/hack section - I have already tried the one listed there...

If you look at my gallery

http://www.geckoworld.co.uk/gallery/index.php

You will see that one of the galleries has a long descripton for it, besides the thumbnail, does anyone know how to add a scroll bar to this part?
Thankyou

Joachim Müller

the mod you mentioned ( http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=550 ) works fine for all modern browsers - what is it that made it not work for you? What happened?

When I installed it it never added the scroll bar to the galleries main page. If you look at my gallery you can see where I need the scrollbars. Once youve clicked on a thumbnail it takes you to another gallery, when I had it "installed" it would show a scrollbar on this page, but the text was tiny. Any ideas how to get it on the main page?

post the code bits you modified before and after modification, and provide deep links to your problem.

I have now removed the installation and uploaded the orginal files. so maybe this would be easier for you to explain how to install it now?

come on, it's an easy mod; you're just being lazy and want me to do your work. Try this: create a copy of the theme you're using (label it "hardwired2") - this way you can "play" with it without the public noticing errors (just call it like this: http://www.geckoworld.co.uk/gallery/?theme=hardwired2 ). Once you created it and applied the modification and it doesn't work for you, let us know.

lol cant blame me for trying
I installed it, last time I just compied and pasted the complete code he posted, but this time I did it manually and it works.
One thing I would like to know though.
The galleies category tables are much bigger than what they used to be  :?  is there anyway of making them look "normal" again???
