Hi!
I don´t wanna show users how don´t have the right to upload in specified directories these directories. When they aren´t allowed to upload pics there it should be not shown in the list.
Is this possibel?

Thanks,
Florian

you can set this up individually (by album) using the album properties dialog, but there's no "general switch" in one place that can do what you want to accomplish.

It seems to me you´re talking about:
"user can upload files" in the album properties. but users who have the rigt to upload shouldn´t see directories in the upload-organize-dialog in wich they aren´t allowed to load in. These areas are secret and just shown to some people. the title would give others too many information so I want to hide it.
you know, after you have chosen sth. to upload you have to decide in wich album it shall be placed.

Thanks
Florian

when uploading, users will only see albums they're allowed to upload pics to - if they can see an album, they're allowed to upload files there. The dropdown field in the album properties page is the place to edit permissions, based on group permissions.

maybe i´m not getting it because it tested everything now. -.-
users in the group X are able to see the album A and B, usergroup Y album C. all albums properties are set on "users can upload files" so group X can see the name of album A B (this is ok) but album C too. you can believe me, it is like i tell you. i tested with two friends now. i´m using thw waterdrop-style. galerie.serv247.de

This is only an on/off toggle in groups: user can or can't upload. There's no more granular permission system based on album level.
