Well... I'm integrating Coppermine Gallery for a friend's site, and I don't know what I should use as the username and password... how could I know it? or is it something I can create myself? The host has PHPMyAdmin support in case I can find it there.

Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks in advance.

Use the PHPMyAdmin Login. Its what i'm using, but still having difficulties getting everything working. admin seems to be taking their SWEET TIME responding to the thread

I've seen an option in the member panel of the host to add users to each database... so I've created one and used it, I'll test tomorrow if it works correctly, also, I saw an field where it says "Address:     MYSQLHOST" I wonder if that's the correct database host, or should it be always localhost?

Well, thanks again.

TheDeJay

use localhost if your cpg is installed in the same domain as the forum. there was a thread about that as well in the main top for the integration...
but ya if yoursite.com/ is the beginning for both forum and gallery, localhost is what you use for the DB_host

Neverbirth

OK, made the integration, it seems to work without severe problems ;) just a slight note, the Users option redirects to the forum index, is that the normal behaviour? if not what should I do?

TheDeJay

i have the same problem, doesn't go to the member list in the forum like I think it should.

Thanks for the tip, it worked fine ;).

Moving to CPGnuke Much more organized than integrating phpbb with CPG

you're welcome to do so - although the two of them are entirely different animals, you can't compare them. Bye.
