I was thinking that it would be cool if users could "subscribe" to groups like you can with phpBB.  That way the admin would not have to by hand change each user to a group.  Would save a lot of the admins time.

Hate to bump an extremely old topic, but I could use that too. Has there been any featured added, or mod created to address this since that post and now. I have an art gallery; some art is "family friendly" and some is "adult." I only want people to see adult art if they choose to be in the "adult" group.

Or if there is a way to just prevent certain galleries from appearing in the random and last updated rotator, without having to bother with group permissions, that would be even better.
