Trying to install, but I keep messing up. Please help.

I have tried to follow the tutorials, but somehow I keep messing up the install process.  I have only taken one course in online publishing and some how I got elected to be incharge of designing and upkeeping my sorority's website.  I have all of the website pages done except for the scrapbook.  It is up and running, I just have a generic "under construction" message on the scrapbook page.

I am using a PowerBook G4 and the I would just appreciate any help someone can give me.  I am just stumbling my way through because in my class we didn't touch on scripts, or php, css, or anything like that.  So, I just need to find a way for my images to be in albums that are accessable.

If anyone at all is able to help me, I would be more than grateful.

Could you please specify where you are having trouble? Do you get any error messages? Please detail what you have done so far.

I have downloaded the software and uploaded it to the university's server, but after that I don't know what to do, becuse the tutorial is for a windows operating system and I get to the part where you change the preference settings, but since i can't right click on a Mac, i'm not sure what to do.  Thanks again for any help I might get.

On a mac, you can click on control (I think) and click to get the same effect as right-clicking.

By 'tutorial', do you mean the written or animated instructions? Have you read through the written instructions in the docs folder?

the animated one, i didn't know there was a doc folder that had written instructions...where is this located?  Also, thanks again for replying so fast.

the docs folder comes with the coppermine package you downloaded. There is an online version available as well - click on the "documentation" link at the very top of this screen...
