I have followed all the instructions, as highlighted in this link

http://forums.postnuke.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=34096

in trying to get coppermine intergrated into my postnuke but with no joy.

When I click the Gallery button (the menu item with the {pnCPG} code) the progress bar at the bottom of internet explorer starts and goes to the end, but nothing happens.

I have even tried the http://www.mysite.com/cpg132/index_pn.php link but get the illegal usage page.

I am using Postnuke 0.76 RC2 with coppermine 1.3.2 and pnCPG 2.5.

Anyone got any ideas were I'm going wrong

Thanks for reading

You could have made it easier for supporters by providing a direct link to the gallery. Please try to make things easier in the future since they are taking time to help you.

Did you enable support for legacy modules ?
What are the settings of pnCPG ?

Does the Postnuke DB user has rights on the Coppermnine database ?
This is essential.

Cas

Thox

errmm, not sure, how do I check that?

Thox

casNuy

If you are not sure, simply add the PostNuke DB user to the Coppermine database.

Cas

Thox

Ok, did that still nothing?

Is there something in postnuke 0.76 RC2 blocking coppermine and stopping it from working?

Thox

Thox

Slight change to admin panel settings, after exploring Myphpadmin: -

noticed that

User table for Postnuke - nuke_users

Should be

User table for Postnuke - pn_users

However, this change made no difference.

Have tried deactivating pncpg, removing and re-inialising and activating module to no effect.

Have tried adding new block

Title: Coppermine

Block: Core/pncpg_random_coppermine_block

and it says "no such block"

Tried the other block type

Title: Coppermine

Block: Core/pncpg_random_coppermine_block

same response

Is there a setting in myphpadmin that I should adjust to make this work?

Thox

casNuy

just send me an admin account so I can verify the settings (please not through the forum but by PM).
I have not yet installed a .760 version but on .750 every thing works out fine.

Cas

Thox

I have upgraded to postnuke .760 RC3, but still with no joy.

I think I will start again from the begining, as it is only a test site, no info will be lost, just a bit of a hassle thats all.

So if I start from scratch, what would you recommend, installing postnuke first or coppermine first?

and should I install postnuke 0.75 and then upgrade to postnuke 0.76 RC3, or just install postnuke 0.76 RC3?

Thanks

Regards

First of all 0.760 is still a RC.
However I found a work around here. I have not been able to fully test it but it appears the problem is with index.php of PostNuke itself.
If you replace the 0.760 version with the 0.750 version my modules work again.

Fantastic, it worked.  Thanks for all your help, this has been really frustrating me.

Many many Thanks
