Latest uploads into the homepage

Hi all,

I'd prefer to see the changing latest uploads in the homepage of my site, South East Art, rather than the static categoires listing.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to alter this in the template or theme files of my site?

Add lastup into the contents of the main page setting on your config page.

I like the way the site is built around the coppermine theme, very cohesive. Maybe the category descriptions could have a line or two about the artist, they are currently a little repetitive (and obvious really). Seems fast, is it UK hosted ?

Also did you remove alblist ? all I can see in the artists' categories now are latest uploads.

Good feedback about the artist categories, I have only created them today however!

UK hosted with Fast hosts.

I wanted to simplify the homepage so removed alblist and random (didn't like random) but placed the jump menus straight to the artists stuff.  Also now only one level of category.
