I really believe that there already was such topics and questions but my internet connection is so slow, so I can't deeply look thru this forum.

When a registered user (and non-registered also) tries to upload a file it says "You don't have permission to upload a file into the album" (I believe it sounds like this, because I use Russian-language gallery). So, it says even to me when I log out as "Administrator" and try to upload as a "Registered user".

I set all needed rights for Registered users, even gave rights to upload for Visitors in "Groups", but it doesn't work anyway.

Once again, I can upload as an Admin, nobody else can, but they can upload into their own galleries.

What to do? Please help me.

Can you upload to your user gallery.

Don't forget you need to give permissions to allow uploads into each individual album.

Yes, I can.

How to give permissions for each individual album?

krkeegan

Well most people would probably tell you to RTFM. But hey I could use the good karma.  ;)

A user must be a member of a group that is allowed to upload files check out your group settings.

As well as each album must be selected to allow visitors to upload images. By vistors they mean anyone who has upload rights in the groups setting and not all visitors.

If you have more questions read the DOC it has everything I just said in way better detail.

I have read the manual again and was surprised
Where exactly can I edit album properties?

For your users to upload to this album, this is what you must change.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Regular users can't see nor give karma, only members of privileged groups (like contributors and devs) can. ;D
