"403 Forbidden" error when typing http://server/coppermine/install.php

I did some searching on this board, but cant find why I may be getting this error.  I dont have an .htaccess file on my server.  Im running Fedora Core 3.

Anyone know some troubleshooting I can do?

this is related to server setup, not to coppermine. We can't tell what exactly is wrong, as we're no clairvoyants. Try localhost intead of hostname in the url.
