login issues with freshly installed CPG+SMF

Hello, I have just installed CPG on my server where I had a copy of SMF. I followed all the instructions and made sure they work independently from each other. Everything seems fine but after bridging I can't seem to log in to CPG. When I click on Login in  CPG it sends me to SMF, I log in and go back to CPG but I am still logged out (ie no user-specific or admin-specific links appear and if I click on login again it sends me to SMF log in page again). Am I doing something wrong?

Please post a link to your site, a test user account, and what you have changed in the bridge file.

I am not sure what is wrong.
This is my installation of coppermine: http://www.socmail.com/gallery/index.php
As you can see it has a picture and an album (from my pre-integration test run)... After integration it stopped working (ie doesn't let me log in).
Am I doing something wrong?

Please enable integration, post a test user account and what you have changed in the bridge file.

SMF+CPG integration is enabled
I haven't changed anything in the bridge file.

Is there any way it can work with that enabled instead of disabled?

It should work either way with the next version of Coppermine, 1.4
