More than 4 custom fields

I have searched here for a couple of hours but cannot find the answer (but I apologise if I am repeating other peeps requests).

I would like to increase the amount of custom fields from 4 to about 12. Is this possible? Me being a humble novice assumes this would be quite easy but I'm struggling with it.

Keep up the good work all. This is a nice product and I'm glad so many peeps are working on improving it.

This is not easy, as reference to the 4 fields is all over the code of coppermine (in many files).
Maybe you can use exif data instead?

Sounds too complicated for little old me;)

I'll just continue putting the motorcycle stats in the photo description for now.

Maybe in a future release the amount of custom fields will be able to be changed on the config page.
