I have just upgraded Coppermine from 1.2 to 1.3.3 today and I now find that the configuration menu has no save button, is truncated and has the Invalid Action error in the top left corner.

I'm sure I followed the upgrade steps correctly, update.php seemed to go through everything without any problems.  I've looked through the forum and see c couple of other people with the same problem but their solution hasn't worked for me.  The language is English and hasn't changed the theme is "rainy day"

Any suggestions welcomed.

Switch to the classic theme - do you still have this problem?

Did you verify you uploaded all of the files before you ran the update.php script?

Is there a way to change the theme when the config menu won't allow you to save any changes?

No I must admit I didn't verify all the files were there, I unzipped the program file and uploaded it the entire contents except for config.php, anycontent.php and the Albums directory.   The update program didn't seem to give any errors during the update.

The instructions said not to overwrite config.inc.php, not config.php.  Upload config.php and your problems will go away.

You are ofcourse absolutely correct, thanks.  And reading the instructions again it does indeed say config.inc.php, perhaps that needs to be in bold text for numpty's like myself  ;D

All working now.
