Hey people, I'm having problems with the latest version of coppermine.

I've deleted an album which contained many images.
Now I'm trying to re-upload these images which are to be watermarked and have the same name but when doing so the upload screen shows the red 'DP' sgn claiming the files are in the database, which shouldn't be the case if the images have been deleted.

Anyway of 're-syncing' the database and update it so it realises the images have been deleted?

( I've just installed Burpee's watermark modification .... a few times and am sure I've made no error ).

Through FTP and 'Batch Add' .. the file upload form works fine and watermarks without problem.

Then you will have to either clean the pic entries from the database manually or wait for me to write something to clean it for you.

That would be of great help, but what caused the problem?
Why didn't the gallery remove the entries when the pictures the album was deleted?

Nibbler

Because it doesn't know they are gone. You should always use the coppermine controls and interfaces to remove pictures otherwise they remain in the database and simply become broken links.

I understand and it's exactly what I did.
When logged in as admin I deleted an album which also removed all images.
Now when I go to re-upload it looks like coppermine didn't remove the entries .. which is the problem.

OK, unzip the attachment, upload it into your coppermine directory and run it from your browser.

Thanks for the efforts in helping ..

I'm putting it down to either an error in the watermarking mod or human error when applying the mod as even when I manually remove all pictures from the _pictures table I still get 'duplicate' errors wihch leads me to believe somehow the code first enters pictures into the database then repeats with a watermark. As although showing a duplicate error, when going back to the gallery, the images are there, but not watermarked ...
