I'm interested how vulnerable is Coppermine for hacking? I installed yesterday Coppermine 1.3.3 with Fantastico and today I saw weird IP in cPanel log (last log in info). I found out that it is IP from Egypt.

What can I do in order to maximize the Coppermine security? Is there some option to see the all logs in my cPanel?

I know that there are some scripts for PHPBB2 with which you can get a MySQL password in a minute and that PHPBB2 is very vulnerable. I hope that it is not the case with the Coppermine.

Thanks in advance.

There are no known security issues with coppermine 1.3.3.

I asked a tech support if maybe that IP came from them (they are not Egypt-based) because previously I asked them to do something for me and they confirmed me that it was their guy who helped me to do that, so they told me that I don't have nothing to worry about.

the internet is international, there might be visitors from other countries even if you don't promote your site in Egypt ;).
Having just a "strange" IP in your access logs is not an indicator for a hacking attempt.
