I just installed this onto an SMF forum integration.

1. None of my existing users have an upload button except the admin.
2. When I click registration and members and log-in it takes me to the smf pages.
3. Admin functions all apear users can see the albums etc (allthough empty atm)
4. Did I good on the install? I used the same mysql name/password but I also I chose to use SFM_ for the database also? SHould this have gone to a seperate database? Instructions were hazy on this part.

Please help I have searched to no avail. :( seems you cant always type the right words and get the results you need, I assume this may have been covered but just cant find the info.

Thanks in advance.

You need to allow groups to upload using the groups page. Redirecting to the forum is expected behavior - it controls the user information.

Ok thanks, I kinda found the groups page info on another search, I would have not looked there thinking it also was a re-direct to smf forum goups lol. Did I miss the section that allows the users to create albums?

I am glad the install is fine, I was concerned there for a moment.

I removed registration and log out buttons also just to save on confusion for my users. I would like to know though how would I add a button back to my forum? That would look just like the current buttons. I looked at the code where that info is stored but it looks like scripting type information. Not html href and they appear as links not images which is fine but it looks like the actual format is in the scripting somewhere? I am not a php or css expert atm. PHP and CSS are my next learning adventures. I will eventually create my own theme for both the forum and gallery that will all match my website but I am not ready for that task yet.

Thanks and thanks again in advance,
Anihc

we have a "one question per thread" policy you agreed to respect when signing up. How to add a custom link in the menu has been asked many times over; search the board for it.
