Config:

CPG 1.4.1beta Standalone
Running on 1and1 hosted service (linux/apache/etc.)
Recently upgraded (using upgrade.php) from 1.3.2 to 1.4.1beta

Attachments:

Check File Versions Results (5 files with 1.3.2 version, however, unlikely tied to this)
Screenshot (JPG) of the album permissions page.

Problem:

Attempting to password protect an album and having issues. When I go to update the album I can see the password/hint text boxes but I see no reference to the "Album can be viewed by" box referenced in the docs. If I add a password and/or hint all users can still view the album without any prompts/logins/warnings/errors. So basically no matter what I put in those boxes it doesn't do anything.

Any help is much appreciated, I was looking forward to this feature.

Thanks,

P

Not a bug, but expected behaviour - when using the album password feature, you can't assign group permissions to that album any more, as suggested in the docs: http://www.coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/#album_prop

Unless I'm reading the docs wrong, that's not what it says. It does state that they're affected by group settings, however, my group settings are still at default. So maybe I'm just missing the obvious, but since I don't have the album viewable by option (doesn't appear, that's not stated anywhere in the docs), am I doing something else wrong?

Thanks

in coppermine's config: "Albums can be private (Note: if you switch from 'yes' to 'no' any current private albums will become public)". However, this is not related to this thread. Actually, you're asking for support imo. Please keep in mind that this sub-board is meant for bug reporting, not for support (as there is none for cpg1.4.x yet). Locking this thread now.
