Hi there and welcome to the wonderful world of being stuck ;)

I merged SMF and coppermine together for a new board that im creating. Now i have done that with success, going to and from the album is easy going.
Until i added a folder with some test images and tried batch adding it. The folder does not appear anywhere.

Did i mis something during the merger or is it just dumb luck ?

*edit*

Well i tried reinstalling both SMF and Coppermine (latest stable versions).
I edited init.inc.php and smf bridge file from coppermine.

When i now register a new user at the forum it does register as it should. If i now go to the CPG i get a CPG which recognises the user and offers a logout button and switches to admin function, which is correct me being the admin.

When i switch back to the forum it says this " Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again." And batch upload keeps saying i need a album folder before i can do any adding A folder was added to albums but is not seen by searchnew.

GauGau if you want to take a closer look i can PM you the admin password for SMF and CPG.

And i have looked but i just could not find a good how-to thread on bridging cpg to smf. I hope 1.4 gets out soon, the bridge there seems to work according to some threads.

the logout link showing the session verification error is a known issue for smf bridged with cpg1.3.x. Has been fixed in cpg1.4.x.
Suggested workaround: remove the logout link from the coppermine theme.

Right. Why didnt i think of that  ;D

Thanks G

One thing left though and that is the batch upload which does not work after bridging.

When i select batch add it says " Error - You need at least one album to use this function "
And i have set a folder in the album dir with chmod to 777 but it does not see the folder.

Any idea ? Is this bridging related ?

Did you already create an album (using coppermine's album manager) your upload could go to?

Hein Traag

..  ;D

Okay shoot me for having a rough week ;) geez why didn't i spot that.

GauGau thanks for your infinite patience
