I am wondering, since I read in the docs that I will lose my current users of coppermine ?

Situation :

I use Coppermine for a month or two now, and have installed just about a week ago, phpBB2
What I want to do now, is to have the same user-database into phpBB2 & Coppermine, so I don't have to force my web-visitors to re-create their logins for phpBB... but in the documentation, I have read a warning, that I can loose my users that are now available in Coppermine ??

I don't have personal galleries enabled, my web-visitors are only allowed to see what I upload (depending if they are family, friends or collegues)

So before integrating phpBB, I really want to know if am really going to loose my existing users of Coppermine or not. (find it a bit hard to believe, and think that my english is not good enough to read the doc 100% what you meant)

copy/paste of your doc:

5.2.3 Coppermine users, groups and pics uploaded by users are lost when integrating
Warning: If you already have users and custom groups in your coppermine database when you enable bbs integration, be aware that they will be lost. If your coppermine users have already created private albums and uploaded pics to them, they will be lost as well!

Yes, the users will not be recognised once you bridge unless you convert them from 'coppermine users' to 'phpbb users'. Please search the board.
