Hello,
I want, so as registered users (no administrators !) can create public gallery in category .. please help

Joachim Müller

currently not possible, and no hack or mod existing to accomplish what you're up to.

RainMan

Can registered users upload to a public gallery which I create (as an admin)?

kegobeer

Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

I read it and I didnt see anything that helps me in what I'm trying

I created a public album, enabled the "Visitors can upload files" and the registered users group does have permission to upload files, so how do they do it? couse as a user when I go to the Upload option I get the "Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files " message"

kegobeer

Create a test user and post the username/password here.  Make sure only one public album is set for "Visitors can upload files".

I'm sorry but it's a private gallery which I cant share the address, will screen caps help?

Joachim Müller

sure, we'll try to test-upload to a bunch of screenshots ;D
On the internet, there can hardly be such a thing as a private web page. Once this issue has been fixed, you can safely disable the test user account we asked you for, so imo it should be pretty safe to post a link to your site.

I can't replicate this problem on my 1.3.4 non-bridged install.  The only way to get accurate help is to post a link, as GauGau suggests.  Otherwise it's just a guessing game, and your guess would be as good as ours.

Just wanna say that my problem had been solved, dont know how it just seems to be working fine now

Thanks
