nova-bossa

dear friends,

how do you like the colors and the (simple) design of my gallery?
comments are welcome!

http://nova-bossa.anyxhost.com/H-photos/digital/index.php

thank you.

I just worked on migrating from what I was using to coppermine, I really like the way this system works. With moveable type moving to the pay system I'll be overhauling half of my site and will try to do a theme to make the gallery match the rest.
73 albums 4249 pictures and counting, most of them taken by me or my friends and I.

I've been trying to go through and list search criteria more and more so that the search functions really well, and it's good to hide easter eggs with.

thanks

@ nova-bossa.  I would like your site a lot, if you had left the 'powered by coppermine' visible.  Making it the same colour as the background may not technically be against the rules (I don't know, I'll leave that to Hyperion or Gaugau), but it's certainly against the spirit.

@ DizzyG, nice site.  How do you have the random use of themes?  Does this cause problems fo users on dialup?
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

It actually is a violation of the GNU GPL terms imo, because it's obstructing the meaning of the copyright notice. Of course Casper is right: it is definitely against the spirit, especially if you even post a link to it on this board. Please be fair and "turn it back on" by changing the color of the css-class "footer" to something readible.

Fly Fort

Hello everybody,

Saw already an impressive list of people that used coppermine for their pictures.

I use it to build up the largest visual online dbase for military aircrafts.

So far I have 1947 pictures in 558 albums and 87 categories with 15 comments viewed 25403 times.

I have only 1 complain and that's the fact that all my aircrafttypes are stuck together in 1 list.

Example : a lot of countries fly the F-16.  So when i put the picture in his proper folder i have to choose between 10 F-16 al together in 1 list (hope this will change with the new version)

But for the rest, let the good work continue.

My galleries can be visit on http://www.militaryaircraftcollection.info

Enjoy!!!

In version 1.3, they have the name of the category or sub-category they are in, so it will be easy to know which 'F16' album to place the pics in.

@imfwwdcc:

A very clean theme. I like it.  Be sure to read up on how to use custom thumbnails for videos, etc.

right... here's the one I have done...

Cheers to who ever made the 'hardwire' theme it was by far my favorite, I did modify the buttons, colors and of course added or banner and brand/logo ...I honestly don't know a thing about php, so I just changed the graphics and kept the file names the same for hardwire (please tell me this was ok to do)...I'm huge on giving credit where it's due and copywrite..so I'll do what's needed to fix anything If necessary.

Hardwired is one of the packaged themes, and it may be used and modified freely. The themes that come with restrictions are not included in the basic package.
