I can send an ecard and it reaches the recipient as it should.
But it shows no pictures and no links. The text is there alright.
The url in config leads to the galleri home page, which is:

http://www.odenas.se/galleri/

Anonymous is allowed to send ecards if you want to have a look at it.

I have installed 1.3.3 from Fantastico at my webhotel. I have read all documentation and searched the forum, but could not understand what  I do wrong. I changed a line in the code in displayecard.php according to the answer on a similiar question, but that had no effect.

I have tried to read the email from two different email clients.

If anyone can help with this I will be happy, since e-cards are important for my site.

PS. After writing this I tested to send an ecard from the Coppermine demo, with the same result, no pictures, no links.
So it must have something to to with my computer or software.  For the moment an old Mac with OS 9.
I do not find a way to delete this message. Sorry.

There won't be a pic if you're reading your emails offline or if your email reader is suppossed to block externally referenced pics. That's why the text link is in the ecards - especially for users like you who have their email client set up securely as you appear to have. No need to be alarmed.

I was not trying to read the e-cards offline (I am not that stupid). And the point was that there were no links to click on, the text was visilble but not clickable.

Now I sit on my job-pc and can see both pictures and links in the e-cards, so it is obviously a mac-related problem.

It works on the pc but it did not work on my mac at home, and not on my mac at work either. They both have OS 9. Tomorrow I will test it on a OS X Mac.

your mail client probably is configured not to have html links clickable - that's a feature imo, not a bug.

I wasn't suggesting that you were. Don't be upset.

Eva

No, the three mail clients I tried with was not configured that way. They show links and pictures in other emails.
My e-cards look fine on PC and on Mac with OSX. It seems to be a problem with e-cards display in Mac OS 9. So it is not a big problem.
