This is one thing that's been bugging me since day 1.

When using "Batch add files" - Why is the "Put files of "xxxxx/" into" on the top of the page, and the button on the bottom?

If you forget to select an album whilst looking through the images (easy), an error (NA) occurs and you have to navigate back..

If the folder selection was next to the button, you'd remember it every time, and it would make more sense, since the button is actually referring to the album (which currently is miles away if you're adding a couple of hundred images).

I say put both in the bottom.

this is already on the todo list for the next version. Moving to the proper feature requests board (from "cpg1.4 upload").

Okay, thanks for your reply and all the work you put into this : )

Much appreciation from here!

How about putting both at the top and at the bottom? That way I'm not required to scroll all the way to the bottom if I don't need to.

This has been outstanding for 2.5 years. Is this a hard change to implement? Surely it could have slipped into one of the releases over the last 2.5 years. Can we get this escalated? It really is annoying and should be really easy to implement.

New features only go into new major versions. Minor releases such as 1.4.x are for bug fixes only. Next major version is 1.5 and it's already addressed there.
