while running the config to bridge the forum and the cpg, I think the cookie names were not the same... I went to bridge the 2 and now I cannot connect to either the forum or the cpg, error is cannot connect to database... Would the cookie name have caused this, not being the same as the one in the forum?

I disabled the photo gallery while working on it and I cannot log back in to change the cookie name or to disable bridging? Database error is preventing access..

bridging shouldn't have an impact on the bbs, as it isn't touched at all. The cookie names have to differ!!!

I don't know what you did, but bridging does not have an impact on the bbs at all - only the coppermine side of things is being changed. The error you get comes from your bbs - I have no idea what went wrong, so you might want to turn to the phpbb support board for help.

Jumping between urls as I type... thanks

Yes you were absolutely correct. I somehow managed to delete my MYSql database file for the photos and forum... Up too late, sleepy and not a wise combination..

I re-installed everything and followed the directions to the letter, everything went as it was supposed to, and now everything is working fine..
The install and bridgeing was flawless and actually very easy... Good luck to all

Case closed!!

Sorry for any inconvience and thank you very much for the sofware, you folks keep up the great work..
