Hi there, I have exectly same problem - view counter doesn't work at all. I uploaded 12 pictures via FTP, added them to album, and logged out. Then, I went thru all album, browsing pictures couple times each, but view counter still shows ZERO views... There must be some bug inside of CPG I think... Site is http://druzhba.net.ua/

Just tried to browse pictures using different IP, but it doesn't change anything. Also I tried to create a user, logged as that user and browsed pictures again, but counter still doesn't work. It's strange to me.

I confirmed my views weren't incrementing the counter. I cleared my cache. i also ran update.php just in case.

Take the dots out of your cookie name.

yaskulka

Everything started to work after I changed cookie name from 'druzhba.net.ua' to just 'druzhba'. As I can see, cookie name can not contain dots. Thank you much fro help.

Hmmm... I changed my cookie name even though there were no dots from "cpg132" to "cpg143" and still the view count is not increasing? I am running in SMF bridged mode and my SMF cookie does not contain dots either.

Are you logged in as admin? Admin views don't count.

radianation

Ahhh. Yes, I was logged in as admin. I guess this has changed since 1.3.x ? Thanks!

Yes - we felt there was no reason for views to increase when the admin was looking at images.
