Hey guys!

Oddest thing just happened over night...
I came down to upload some images that I had ftp'd to my site's album folder (done this lots of times without any trouble), and now when I open the batch add files the folder it tries to open is: "home/domainname/gallery/gallery/albums" instead of just "home/domainname/gallery/albums"
I know it's probably a no brainer, but I've tried searching for the place I must edited, but can't find it... anyone a coppermine wiz that automatically knows where the error must lie? Any suggestions on how this change could have initially happened  ???

Thank you so much for your help, and a big thanks to the dev team!
Chris

just noticed that the fullsize images arn't working anymore either...
the javascript pops-up the new window, but the image fails to load. When I check the img tags link, this is what I get:
http://website.com/albums/path/to/image/image.jpg
in other words, the /gallery/ bit is missing...
anyone? Looks to me like there is a reference to some path that must be wrong...
Thanks for any help
Chris

I've made a test user for anyone who wants to take a look at it...
> edit: contact me if you want to give it a try, and I'll set up an account

please don't abuse powers  ::)

If you remove the 'powered by coppermine' footer no one is going to help you.

I'm so sorry, I didn't know that was frowned upon...
It is back on now.. hope no one will hold this against me  :-\

If anyone is still up for helping, it would be much appriciated :)
Chris

P.S I have hardcoded in the /gallery/ part to my displayimage so the fullsize pictures work... for now, didn't want my users missing out untill I could get this all fixed

You likely have http://itismylife.net/ set up as the gallery/ecard URL in Config due to your CMS setup. Not sure if it will work due to the variables in it, but you will have to put the real gallery URL, and not your home page. Or you can try http://www.itismylife.net/gallery/ since it is really located there.

ccjensen

URL of your coppermine gallery folder (no 'index.php' or similar at the end) is set to be http://www.itismylife.net/gallery/
always have been.... any other suggestions?  :-\

Do not post admin logins in a public board.

To address the batch add path issue, Set Browsable interface to No. It's not a real solution but at least it shows your folders.

ccjensen

mmm, tried that too. It shows the folders, but when I try to select one and click on it, I am redirected back to the gallery main page

Did you do the integration yourself or did you get this from joombla or something? The code seems heavily modified. Unless someone else here can figure out what the problem is, you would need to go to the source of the modifications for help.

ccjensen

yea, it's a joombla intergration... I guess you are right.
Thank you so much for trying :D

Happy holidays

And tranzndance was SPOT on. It WAS the joombla copperminevis intergration causing the trouble. As soon as I thought of opening coppermine in a seperate window, without being framed inside joomla is when I figured out the true problem. Copperminevis has a function where it automatically fixes image links if they are incorrect...
I'm such a moron :)

I had updated copperminevis to the newest version just a day before this problem appeared itself for me... amazing that I didn't think of it.
Thanks for all your help, you helped me reach my goal :)
Merry christmas to all
Chris
