Can't login as admin...

Our coppermine is pre-installed in our control panels for our customers. I have one customer that installed coppermine and when we go to the home page by using the http://www.domain.com/coppermine or view in C/P we only get the standard login page, we click on login and we do not go to admin section. It let him login as admin yesterday and he changed the skin and set up galleries and categorties but counldn't upload photos. received error"Warning: touch(): Unable to create file ./albums//edit/mURI_temp_a779429a.jpg because Permission denied in /hsphere/local/home/sterno/sternpics.net/coppermine/upload.php on line 1788"  so he unstalled coppermine and re-installed. Thats why he emailed us. Now we can't login as admin, when we sign in as admin it welcomes us as admin but the admin section isn't there, only the regular selections.
We tried everything thats in the FAQ.

If we login as admin on this page, it will welcome admin... but the page stays the same.

Do NOT start a new duplicate thread just because the first one does not get an answer as soon as you want. It creates more work for moderators to keep things organized and to prevent duplicate work. I've merged your threads.

Merged again.....

Make sure you are actually in admin mode, not user mode.

I understand that. The problem is that we can't access the ADMIN area. Either from http://sternpics.net/coppermine/ or in his control panel. Now I can access the coppermine file through the File Manager in our C/P.

Don't clam to be a programer, that's why we did away with "Gallery" and switched to "Coppermine". 

We are not able to access the Admin area anywhere.

I uninstalled it and re-installed and does the same.
