I was working in my config area changing gallery options when I accidentally clicked the Admin Tools link in one of the areas regarding the image sizes and upload restraints.

Now I get this error:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /gallery/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache/1.3.34 Server at theminivault.grimeygames.com Port 80

I can't for the life of me figure out what I did besides click that admin tools link, because this error wasnt present until it attempted to load that page.

I am integrated with SMF

Gallery: http://theminivault.grimeygames.com/gallery
Forums: http://theminivault.grimeygames.com/SMF

Help please! I need to get this back up ASAP...

CHMOD the index.php file so that it can be executed by the webserver.

Check permissions on the gallery folder and make sure that there are appropriate read and execute permissions for the correct group(s), depending on your server setup. The issue seems to be with the folder, and not just the index file because I get the same error even when attempting to load a non-existent page.

Since the SMF folder is fine, copy the permissions set on that.

SMF and Gallery folders have the same permissions 755

Okay, this might be out there, but maybe something happened when you ran the admin script and your webhost chowned the folder to keep it from running. Try asking them.

OK all fixed. No idea what happened. But the host had to destroy the whole account and then recreate it and use yesterdays backups.

The whole days work is wasted now  :(

Thanks for your help though guys!
