Somewhere it is stated that by calling coppermine like this http://....../coppermine/index.php?lang=xxx the automatic language detection is triggered. (If the -utf8 language feature is used when installing coppermine. - I didn't   )

Is it possible to force the language by doing something similar like calling coppermine like this http://....../coppermine/index.php?lang='language_code' ???

The idea is to present a flag on a top page and when the visitor clicks a flag coppermine starts in the corresponding language.

Is this possible?

yes, http://yourdomain.com/coppermine/?lang=greek will display your gallery in greek. If you didn't install greek (or made a spelling error in the url) your default language will be displayed. Actually this has already been done in the past, see

Great!

Thanks

I am very happy with Coppermine!
