URL doubled in the address bar

Hi,
I have trouble to make my gallery run properly.
Installation went smooth, url = http://gallerij.plucky-lady.net/cpg1.2.1_standalone/index.php
but now, when in pic view and clicking on the previous or next button there is a message saying: "can't find that page on the server".
The same message is there when I try to log in.
The page can't be found on the server, of course not, because in the address bar, the command adds the home page url in front of the url of the page I want to open.
So when trying to log in, it's showing this:

http://gallerij.plucky-lady.net/gallerij.plucky-lady.net/cpg1.2.1_standalone/index.php

instead of this:

http://gallerij.plucky-lady.net/cpg1.2.1_standalone/index.php

Can anybody help me please.

That's it, I have it running properly.
Thanks for the help to all of you.
It was quite a bit struggeling for a non-specialist like me.
The last modification I made was the one suggested by Titooy and after that everything was working.
