maybe that some plugin also modifies $template_image_comments ... then you won't see avatars and the PM link in comments

if these notices don't mean anything to you just turn them off

Justttt

Don't let me always guess what you're doing...
if you batch upload -> then permissions aren't set correctly (I've explained that 2-3 times in this thread). Therefore I asked you to http upload. You haven't reported back if that works.
Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I did use http upload for one image to test everything.  There were already more images in the gallery than I care to reupload until I see this working perfectly.

Anyway, same problem with my http uploaded test image: I have a watermark (the correct watermark.png) on the intermediate sized image, but when you click on it to get the full sized one (the one that pops up), there is no watermark.

But before we go any further, is the site owner going to have to use http upload for all pictures she wants watermarked?  Like, ALWAYS?!

Stramm

no, of course you won't have to use http upload... that's just to troubleshoot.
you did set 'watermark both, fullsize and intermediate' ?

edit: link and testuser account would come in handy

justbishop

Yes, it is set to watermark both, and I've done the admin tools process numerous times.  Here's a link to the gallery.  Did you need an admin account or something?

Stramm

yes, please by PM... your CPG doesn't create a backup file of the orig. So something goes wrong here. I'll have a look when I have time again. Will be off for today and not around tomorrow

First of Stramm - work on the mod pack.  Hope for more to come.

I recently upgraded to cpg 1.4.8 (fresh install) and then added your mod pack.
Everything installed fine, ran update, versioncheck, etc.  no problems.

Then I started to batch add images (w/o watermarking) and then Added new files to the gallery.

As the page loads - under each result was "click for details or to reload" clicked the link and I'm now getting the following errors.

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4096 bytes) in /home/XXXXX/public_html/images/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 434

Strange thing is that the first gallery I added had no problems, now this is the error I get constantly.

Thanks for the help in advance.

all looks good to me... I've created a personal album and uploaded a pic. Works for both, orig and resized. Just one settiung was wrong (cause maybe missleading). Transparency needs to be set to > 0. 0 means fully transparent. I've set it to 50 now

This means the images you try to add are to big in size. Search the board for more details or just reduce the images size (width/ height).
