Newbie needs help

I just installed Coppermine today.

I can make categories, I can make albums...

BUT

I cannot upload files to albums!

The Register screen is Blank, so users can't add themselves.

help, help, help please....

There's code after the closing tag of </body>, which is definitely a no-no. As this happens for all themes, it's something your webhost does: they appear to be injecting code to each page. I therefor doubt that you will be able to run coppermine with this type of hosting plan.
Make sure that register.php actually exists and hasn't gotten corrupt.
To solve your upload issues, read the upload troubleshooting section of the docs (in fact, read the docs completely before asking questions).
