Hi,

I just upgraded to version 1.4.4. Everything seems to work fine, even my adjusted theme ist still working. But the Settings menu is gone and the german letters ä, ö & ü are not displayed right in the admin menus.
Any idea what might have gone wrong?
If you want to have a look, go to http://19pictures.de/cpg132/ . Even though as a normal visitor you might not be able to see the problem.

Greets,

If a non-logged in user can't see your issue, then post a non-admin test user account...

I think the only one who faces the problem is the adim. Maybe I got the english name for the menu that I can not approach, it might as well be the Configuration menu. Well, it's this one: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/thumbnails.php?album=9

The link to this menu is not available since I updated.

Joachim Müller

did you upgrade everything (language file, theme etc.) when upgrading? Use versioncheck.php to find out.

Roland_Deschain

I got it working, I had forgotten to update the theme as well.
The only problem is that with the old files the gallery shows instead of the German letters ä, ü & ö. If I ad a new file and the description contains this letters, there is now problem. I guess I'll have to check all files manually, since the information which letter should be there seems to be lost.

is charsetmgr.php and option for you?

Roland_Deschain

I guess not, since I don't know what it is/how it works... But I'll have a look.

Hi, I'm facing the same problem: my config menu button is lost.
The rest of the gallery seems to work fine.
I was running under a personalised theme before I updated, but I don't know how I should update that theme (a friend of mine created it).
Anyone here that knows how the "upgrade" a self made theme?

Best regards

Yo thanks, I'll bribe my friend whit a dinner to fix it again  8)
