Need someone to add a couple of buttons (menu)
I've installed the minicms and it works great, just don't have time to get the bottoms installed.  Read some forums on it looks like need to modify index. page.
www.stonedeck.biz

Anyway if you can do it, post a quote here.

Buttons needed.

Contact Us  -- Links to a basic contact us page
What is It? -- links to a description of product and use
Dealers  -- links to people carrying and installing product
Installation Manual -- link to how to install manual

Will pay 1/2 up front and 1/2 down back,  paypal is how I'd like to pay. Can trade stuff if wanted.

Thanks and Good Luck

dead easy question, edit themes/hardwired/theme.php with a plain text editor (notepad.exe is fine), find// HTML template for sys menu
$template_sys_menu = <<<EOT

                        <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                                <tr>
and add after it (in a new line)                                        <td><img name="spacer" src="images/spacer.gif" width="5" height="25" border="0" alt="" /></td>
                                        <td><img name="buttonleftmy" src="themes/hardwired/images/buttonleftmy.gif" width="17" height="25" border="0" alt="" /></td>

(put in actual links instead of the dummy placeholders - relative links must be seen from your coppermine root folder). Save the file and upload it (using your FTP app). That's all.

If this solves your question, please spend the money you were ready to give to a freelancer to local charity instead. Any particular reason for not asking for help on the unpaid support forum first?

Cheers

Joachim

Thank you for the very detailed post.

To answer your question 'why not post it in free forum';   I've spread myself a bit thin and just wanted someone to fix it up for me.

I donate all the time to local charity's and will include $ next time.

Again thanks

I'll close this post, read something about a flag for it don't quite see it.

Thanks and Good Luck

only support staff can flag threads as "solved" or similar. In the future, please don't edit out your thread's subject, as it becomes useless for others who are looking for support on similar issues. Your thread should summarize your posting, so the initial subject "Quite Simple help needed" wasn't very helpful for others either. Anyway, moving to the corresponding support board and renaming thread accordingly for the possible benefit of others who look for help on similar issues.

I'm a member of several software and internet tool boards and this is the most managed and accurate board I've ever used.   You'll have to forgive my sloppy use of boards and posting techinques (over a decade never recieved any instruction on proper use of boards),  I can see by using your board and getting accurate search results returned that it pays  off, huge.  On some boards I have to use the google search tool to find anything of value.

My Compliments...

Also, I read the documentation for copper-mine and it is unreal, very very well done.  All I could find is a minor spelling error, out of 45 pages of great information.

I tried copper-mine on a whem for a friends product because all they wanted was to post a little info and several pictures of there product, now I'm installing it for my families photo album and will be using it for other projects.

Thanks for the great support...(if you didn't know this, it is better than most commercial support),
I'm glad you got me to dive in an examine this product further.

Thanks and Good Luck
