categories with phpBB integration

Hi,

I am using coppermine with phpBB integration. I want users to be able to use categories, but I do not have this option (or at least can;t find it).

Is this possible?

what do you mean by saying "use categories"? Uploads go into albums, not categories. Regular users can't create categories at all. Regular users can't create albums within the public section of the gallery, but only inside their personal galleries (if you allow them to have one).
When reporting issues with your site and permissions for regular users, then it would be helpful to post a link to your page and a non-admin test user account.

OK, thanks. I missread the documentation. I wanted non-admin users to be able to use categories as well (even if they have to be pre-defined by an admin), but obviously this is not possible.

by saying "use categories" you meant "create categories" then? That's not possible as you already discovered: regular users can't create categories at all.

Again I have to ask: what do you mean by "use". Uploads go into albums, not into categories. User uploads can go into albums within public galleries if you allow them to do so (using the groups page and album properties).
