Hello,

I am new to Coppermine, but it seems that an invitation function is missing. If there is an add-on, please let me know.

Precisely what I have in mind is to make an album private then limit sign-up possibility to a set of e-mail addresses only. These "desired" viewers should then receive an e-mail inviting them to sign up to view a particular album. As they sign-up, the usual verification process by e-mail takes place.

The way it is right now, I would have to create each user and assign an initial password to their account, then manually sent the invitation e-mail while disallowing anonymous account creation, in order to achieve the same effect.

Is there a better way?
