Hi,

This was pointed out to me by a friend who was testing the gallery of our family album.  When I showed her the Coppermine Gallery version she liked it better than the Gallery2 -- partly because of the ability to change themes.  As she was going from one theme to another though, she has to kept asking:

Where is that module to change the theme?  In the case of various  Coppermine themes the module could be found almost anywhere somewhere at the top or the bottom.  I thought it was a legitimate issue.

Do not expect your visitors to know intuitively where the theme module is -- especially if there are a few choices.   I decided therefore to  modify the "template.html"   of  all the skin choices, so that the theme module is exactly in one location.  I chose to center the module at the bottom of the page. [You can have your own choice location if you wish to do the same, but the main point is to keep the module in one position -- to make it more easy for visitors to find.]

Anyway, the above is just one aspect.  Since I decided to change the location of the "theme select list module" to the bottom, it now conflicted with the layout of where the "Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery" is located in some of the choices -- sometimes they are too close, or sometimes they are too far away.  [I have tried this in our "Family Album" gallery but I decided not to attempt integration of the footer in the gallery of my public website because it would be tedious to be changing them again, when I am able to resolve this issue.]

As it is now, when I just add the "site footer links" at the bottom, by modiying the "template.html", the overall effect -- as the visitor goes from one theme to another -- is a very amateurish website because of the lack of integration in the bottom section.

What I wish to do is to modify the footer section of the page further so that the"theme select list module", the "Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery" and the footer links of the website are not only integrated but also use the same layout specifications, i,e, link color, size, letter stylesheet, etc. are the same for the "Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery"  and the  footer links of the website.

I can do it myself, except for one issue:  Where is the script where that defines  the  "Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery" and its layout specifications?  I know it is integrated in the "{GALLERY}" script based from my findings when moving the "theme select list module" at the bottom.

you can change the way it looks by changing the corresponding stylesheet class. However, we won't tell you how or where it is being generated, as this would tell users how to get rid of it just as well.
