Problem upgrade to ver. 1.4.2.

I upgrade my coopermine phot gallery from the cpanel of midphase; i login and enter to admin mode, choose NO in display flag languages and later show me the main page and ask me for my username and password, i type my username and password and display me the following message: "*** Couldn't log in. Try again ***"

All pics are in the users folders of my server, but nobody cant access, also does not show any link to register a new user. Please help me.

I update to ver. 1.4.4, and i dont see any change; i can't login with my username and password, i ask some users to login, and they also can't.
