Hello,

I've recently installed cpg 1.4.5 on my site and am working on setting diferent user groups and privileges for some test albums.

I've read the documentation and found these options for albumes:

http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/pics/edit_album.gif

The problem is that I cant find that option on that menu of my cpg. I find this one instead:

http://www.equanumba.com/fotos/Dibujo.JPG

Is the documentation from a previous version, or am i looking for it on a wrong place?

My main aim is having a public area, where i'll put all the public pictures and a private area where only certain groups or user will be able to enter and watch the pics.

I also have read, dont remember exactly where in the docs, that user albums should stay hidden for non-registered users. Still, they remain visible for all the public.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Anyway, I've also tried setting a password on the album, son only those knowing the pass can enter, but it doesnt ask for it. Anyone can enter on the album altough a pass is set on it. It happens both in general and user albums.

I've been working further on this topic, and also found in groups config pannel a button "assigned album(s)" or sthing like that (album(s) asignados in spanish). I thought i could set what i wanted up there, but seems to be an informative pannel on wich albumes that group can see. But i cant find where you can set that property of the album.

Whats more, i opened source code and found out that the property on "albums" table that configure this option is "visibility", so i manually set up that property on my data base admin interface. Then, clicking in that button i could see that modified album was only visible by set group... but again, if i enter my photo gallery with a guest, he can see that album too.

Please respect the 1 issue per thread rule on this board. You need to enable 'Albums can be private' to get that option, as explained in the docs. Providing screenshots in spanish is not all that helpful for most supporters.

Ok.

Thank you and sorry for double post and spanish screen shot.

Problem solved.
