Error Message Failed to Open Dir....

Hi guys. Im trying to upload some pictures to my gallery, and all of a sudden, I started getting weird error messages.

When hit the upload button this message appears at the top:
Warning: opendir(./albums/edit): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/aegfzcwq/public_html/photos/upload.php on line 409

And when I attempt to upload my pictures, I get this message:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpqGcPfu' to './albums/edit/mHTTP_temp_04c3604d.jpg' in /home/aegfzcwq/public_html/photos/upload.php on line 1197


Its so odd because my gallery was working fine earlier, then all of a sudden, caos. HELP!

1) Upgrade!
2) Search the board for the error message you got, this has been asked and answered many times over
3) CHMOD as suggested in the docs

I did search the board, and the FAQ page, but I couldnt find anything.

The update did not work for me.   Now im getting a new error message. 

I updated everything.  Installed all of the new files except for the include folder, the config.inc.php file, and the anycontent.php file.  I did not touch the albums directory.

I even found out how to CHMUOD the edit folder. (I had no idea what that was). 

When I type in http://mypersonalsite.tld/coppermine/update.php, the gallery wont update. It says that my page cant be found. 

When I go to my gallery, the only thing I see is this: 
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_meta_album_set() in /home/aegfzcwq/public_html/photos/index.php on line 759

I did a search for this error message on the board, and the post seem to say that I might be missing some of the new files.  I uploaded the new files, THREE TIMES, and still the same message. 

Anyone have any suggestions?

Oh, and I also noticed that a file in the new batch of files says upgrade for 1.0 to1.2php.  I think my board is a 1.3 and im upgrading to a 1.46? I dont know if that matters.  I got the link from the latest download section of the site.

Maybe this is part of the problem, I dont know what a tld is. 

Am I suppose to substitue the tld with something?

The url you posted says .tld where there usually is a .com or .net, etc. What is your domain really?

Oh, its a .com.  I did replace that with .com, and it still didnt work.

http://gregrikaartonline.com/? I got a 404 for the coppermine folder. Clicking on the home page on Photo Gallery link doesn't show a coppermine gallery.

Its there, but when you go to the page, the error message shows.  My gallery page is:

I was able to run the update script. Make sure your ftp client is set to overwrite old files.

It should be.  When I installed all of the new files last night, I overwrote all of the old files. 

What should I do next?  How do I get rid of this error message?

*added*  I tried running the update various times, and its still not working.

I finally got my update page to show.  The problem is that I dont have a coppermine album.  Its named photos.  So I changed the link: http://gregrikaartonline.com/photos/update.php

The update page appeared, but im still receiving the error message.

Can someone please help me.  Ive been trying to do this for 2 days now.

Wow.  Is no one going to help me? Ive been sitting on this board (solid day and night) going on 3 days. I sent one of the admistrators a PM late last night, (about something unrelated to my problem) but he never responded. 
I did everything everyone suggested. 

I have redown loaded from this link (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/cpg1.4.6.zip?download) and uploaded, overwrote, CHMODed, didnt delete my include/config.inc.php ,anycontent at least 20 times. 
(no joke).  On of the "new files" says upgrade 1-0 to 1-2php.  Is that correct? Im suppose to be upgrading to 1.4.6.

Finally got my page to update.

Did NUMEROUS SEARCHES for my error message and they all state that I should reload my files etc etc. 

Is that the correct link. Im overwriting my files. It ask me if I want to overwrite, and I click "all".   Should I be downloading from another link?  Should I go to another part of this site for some answers? 

I just understand why someone starts to help me, and then they disappear.  I know you guys get tired of answering the same questions, but Im new to this, and im trying my best.

lol  Sorry, I didnt mean to offend.  Im just terribly frustrated.  I actually got my updated gallery to come up, but I still cant upload any pictures.  On the upload page it says "Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files".  I was just going to try and figure out what that meant.
