How to get [code] bbcode on cpm 1.4.8?

Is there a way to add more bbcode functions to the image description.
Like this forum has the code bbcode below which i wanted to have it on my cpm 1.4.8 too.

I want something like this for my cpm site so that I can post code or long lines that won't mess up the site.

I have little knowledge of php so I don't know where to start. I download phpbb and looked at the bbcode file where it implement the bbcode but don't know how to integrate that into the function php in cpm. Anyone willing to get me starte? or pointing me to a place to get start on it?
