Wanted to make signing on a little more attractive, did a few searches, but came up with little results...

How about letting only the registered users see the full size pictures ?

And one of my users suggested that the viewcount and commentcount would be kinda cool under the thumbnail.

Greetz,

I'd like to be able to not let unregistered users see the intermediate and full sized pictures, only thumbnails.

Joachim Müller

viewcount under thumb will be a feature in cpg1.2.0

Danp:  I think the "tumbnails only for unregistered users" mod has been done.  Try searching the old board:  http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/oldboard/

Hope that helps,
rg.

I found this

http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/oldboard/viewtopic.php?t=2730&highlight=private+icon

But it's the whole gallery install with that hack included and I don't know if I want to wade through it looking, I wouldn't know where to start.

I wrote a mod that shows intermediate and fullsize images to registered users and admins.  Admins also have the option of letting anon users see full size images.  It won't make the 1.2 release, but will hopefully be in the next major release.

Check out my site to see it.

I thought I remembered someone having done that mod too, but I wasn't able to find it either

Hi I would like to have the ability to only let non user no have access to the Full size picture. And only viewable Full size if you are a member of a certain group , a little like this

NON MEMBER = NORMAL SIZE PIC "CLICK" MSG PLEASE SIGN UP ETC

MEMBER = NORMAL SIZE PIC "CLICK" FULLSIZE

Is this possbile or would you have to create a new functions.php for certain members ?

[edit GauGau]this posting was posted as separate thread - as it's requesting exactly the same, I merged it with the thread you're actually viewing.[/edit]

LilAngel

I know this is an old thread, but it's not really helpful and i wanted to ask if someone can give it a try again.
What I''m looking for is, unregistered can view the intermediate pictures (normal_) but cannot enlarge the picture to its original size. So only registered users will be able to click the picture to see it full size.
Anyone?

Joachim Müller

this is the feature requests board - you post features in it you would like to see in future versions of coppermine. There are no actual solutions posted here...

In coppermine config, enable "Display number of views below the thumbnail".

Im sorry wrong question  ;D

What I'd like to have is letting only the registered users see the full size pictures.

Joachim Müller

you should have searched instead of posting this unrelated question on the feature requests board. Your question has already been answered: see http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=7636.0 and various other threads. This is not a feature request, but plain support.
