It appears that The sql datatbase server is down with my host.   This seems to be a Frequent issue for posts related to this.  I dont have confirmation from my host yet, but Running phpmyadmin and getting a server down type error leads me to think there is a downage.

I will update to the current CPG after the issue is fixed.  Reason I didnt before this was I was afraid of possible problems with Upgrading.  Will give it a shot later and let you know what happens.

This is not yet resolved,  I will let you know what happens.  Thanks....

My Host verified that the MYSQL server is not down and is up and running as it should be.

Current problem is just getting phpmyadmin to work, and I will look at the website to get help on the proper script to use, etc.

ISSUE still not reolved.  Will let you guys know what happens.....

mySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

File: include/functions.inc.php - Line: 248

How do I roll back the modification?  Will this be a phpmyadmin operation.  From what I believe, I cannot access my control panel for cpg, all i see thus far is the error screen.   Awaiting directions.....

In the same way you applied them in the first place - change the code back to how it used to be before you applied the mod. If you applied a plugin, turn the plugin off using phpMyAdmin or similar, go to coppermine's plugin table and disable the plugin there. Always backup before performing such stuff.

Gaugau-  What I applied was The Coppermine factory settings. This was due to several unlikeable settings that I did and I wanted everything to be the way You guys developed it.    I dont believe I installed any mods ever.

IF I rollback the factory settings, How do I do it.  I dont believe I can access my Config with CPG,  and using phpmyadmin I would need a tutorial or something.

Sorry that I am unable to understand the resolution, thus far.  Thanks for the patience.....

Sure thing, you didn't apply any mods - reference in the error message to the "Who is online" Plugin/Mod just went into the code because someone else must have applied the mod for you ::). The "Who is Online" mod doesn't come with the Coppermine package, it needs to be downloaded and applied separately. It appears that this is what you have done. Maybe you just don't remember...

Dang,  I removed the wrong table.  I removed the plugins table

While executing query "select * from cpg143_plugins order by priority asc;" on 0

mySQL error: Table 'severegg_gallery.cpg143_plugins' doesn't exist

I did removed Mod_Online,  Now I need to resove this issue.   Very sorry that I am keeping you......

Well after stressing out completely for several hours, I decided to just reinstall everything, saving my albums folder was a big help,  So now I am at version 1.4.8 and everything is good to go.

The install was clean and nice and check version worked great,  everything is as it should be.

For the future I will only remove the Plugin with phpmyadmin and not remove the plugins table itself.  It was stressfull, but to me reinstalling is simpler, especially after I deleted the whole database and couldnt add the backup I made.

This issue is resolved.  Sorry for my inexperience and constant questions,  You guys are doing a great job, I will be sure to donate for the Future of CPG,  my website wouldnt be perfect without cpg.  Thanks Everyone......
