Although screenshots are nice, this is not what I have asked for - I have asked for a link! Judging from your screenshot, your gallery address is http://139.105.180.106:4001/coppermine/ - which can't be reached from the internet. You should have said so.
This is what you should do now: make sure that you're running the most recent coppermine version (currently cpg1.4.8). Check if this happens only with your custom theme (go to http://139.105.180.106:4001/coppermine/?theme=classic to check and to http://139.105.180.106:4001/coppermine/?theme=xxx to go back). After having made sure that this is not related to your custom theme, post the HTML output of the page that is suppossed to show the category image but doesn't.

Hi!

I am terrible sorry that i did not tell you that this is a offline site.. I am at work, so i was to busy thinking clearly ;)

This is how i have done this:

Originally there is no category thumbnail for the 'Nature' category in Coppermine Photo Gallery Live-Demo (1.4.8)
I used classic (standard skin) meaning no changes in skin
I logged in as admin/admin
Clicked on the category menu
Clicked "Update/Create category"
Set "Parent category  = Nature"
Set "Category thumbnail = Morrigan_080106_02.jpg"
Clicked "Update/Create category" button
Clicked on the menu - "User mode"
There is still no thumbnail for category 'Nature'

What have i done wrong?

Here is the output as text file attached

This case is closed.. it was my fault, i did not use the edit category.. it works when using that..

Sorry for the time use/spent on this case.. i did not read the manual properly..

Have a nice day

OK, glad you were able to fix it. Thanks for returning and posting your solution. It may sound self-explanatory, but many users fail to do so, especially if they have to admit that it was them who did something wrong and not just someone else's fault they could blame. It takes guts to do say you did something wrong, but we appreciate it. Keep this up - always resolve your threads (preferably saying what you did to fix your issue for the benefit of others coming across your thread).

Joachim
