Mr Tee

I am not too sure if this is the right forum but an odd thing has started to happen when a new image is uploaded to my gallery.

I have 7 custom user fields in the image upload. Everything has been working fine until I transferred to a new host. Now when someone puts information into two of the fields, [Editing performed] and [iso] instead of populating the correct fields in the database [user6] is put into [pic_raw_ip] and [user7] is put into [pic_hdr_ip]. If I go back to the album and edit the image details I can put the info back into user6 and user7 and the database will hold the information in the right place.  I hope that makes sense.

This has only happened to the last 6 or 7 uploads and I am sure these are the only ones uploaded since I transferred everything a few days ago. I have checked the php files for any corruption but they seem OK.

I am stumped at the moment.

Thanks

Having 7 custom fields means that you must have applied a hack, as Coppermine only comes with 6 out-of-the-box. I suggest reviewing your hack.

Mr Tee

I will uninstall the hack and see where we go from there. Thanks

Solved

In another thread you complained that your karma is decreasing. Would have helped if you would have posted what you did to solve your issues, for the potential benefit of others. As a side-effect, giving something back to the community by actually resolving threads you started could boost your karma.

Mr Tee

Well, I am sorry but I did nothing to solve the issue as it was not an issue in the first place. So I must admit to being a little hasty in posting. The IP address figures I was seeing could be seen only because I was logged in as admin, they are not there as a user.

My only excuses for this is my site has been hacked twice in the past week and at one point the hackers deleted virtually all my files, took me several hours to put them back. I became a little paranoid about anything unusual I had not seen before.

So, my apologies to you, GauGau, deleting the post was to save my own embarrassment, no disrespect to you or the community was intended.
