Is it possible to add a preview thumb to a zip file, like in movie files? Reason: See a thumb of whats inside the zip!

You can specify a custom thumbnail for zip files using the same method as desribed for videos.

Thanks for the reply! I found some info on it but still have issues. Also have the same problem like this member posted http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=28627.0. My goal is to have a user upload a zip and a jpg file and it should show in the gallery as one file. Zip with a custom icon, now I have 2 files. Also it is not possible for a user to upload via ftp. Can this be done?

Also it seems the icon for the zip in the image view is smaller than the jpg preview. Can this be changed?

Thanks for this great gallery and all the support

Currently not possible out of the box. I think that Stramm's modpack has this feature (not sure though)

You mustn't grant others FTP access for security reasons.

The generic thumbnails for non-image files have a fixed size. You'll have to resize them manually. Edit images/thumb_zip.jpg accordingly.

Thanks for your feedback. I wish the original thread starter would have resolved his questions as well by posting something similar to your reply ::)

So no help, I could not find any answers if it would be possible with stramms mods. I think I should post it in his category.

Thanks for the info!
