Removing Statistics

Hello,

I want to customise the eyeball theme. I want to remove the statistics that read 'x files in x albums with x comments viewed x times' and 'x files, last one added on Oct xx, 2006'. I understand that there are other threads on this topic and have read numerous and tried the suggested edits to theme.php, including adding the 'HTML template for category list' from sample.php and editing out the stats statement. But, to no avail. i still cant get this to work.

Please can anybody help me? Below is the code to my theme.php.

I copied and pasted your code above into a theme.php file and uploaded to my eyeball theme and it worked perfectly. I would suggest you delete you browsers cache and try again.
